Shelli Jost Brady

Shelli Jost Brady (she/her/hers) – – business owner, social entrepreneur and servant leader since age 29 – – is a divine being of a certain age that has focused her essence, efforts and energy on creating place and belongingness for all of humanity since the dawn of time.

Born in South Dakota to Midwest farm family lineage, she left the prairie to see the world as the middle child (master negotiator and peacemaker) dependent youth of a career military father before settling in Virginia for college and career.

Shelli innovates resilient, restorative and sustainable communities and organizations through story – – outputs of which include architecture, education, social justice and economic development – – within diverse and challenged cultures worldwide.

Her military-dependent nomadic youth instilled the importance of finding affinity in disparate groups to create comfort in changing/dangerous environments.

Storytelling is a universal language and a transformational process that transcends barriers within our communities as well as our own minds.  Sometimes, life happens to us … and storytelling offers the opportunity to release old narratives and create new ones …

WE ARE THE STORIES WE TELL OURSELVES.

With advanced degrees & certificates in design/architecture, business, leadership, trauma/ASD paraprofessional and peace education, Shelli creates curriculum in human rights, conflict transformation, prejudice/bias, relationship & reconciliation for organizations and the community-at-large for over 20 years.
